Magnolia Reporter disclosed public records from Friday, October 20, which showed that the Columbia County jail bookings had fallen by two since the last report to a total of 96 prisoners held in the Columbia County Justice and Detention Facility.

The people listed below have been officially booked into the Columbia County Justice and Detention Facility, and they remain innocent until a court of law finds them guilty.

People with short sentences or those in the jail awaiting court appearances are not included in the list. Bear in mind that a name may be used by multiple people.

Sardonyx Ray Johnson29, released 10:57 p.m. Thursday, booked 10:54 p.m. Thursday, failure to pay child support.

Damean A. Russ31, released 11:27 a.m. Thursday, booked August 7 by Magnolia Police Department, breaking or entering criminal trespass on premises, theft of property under $500, bond $15,000.

Generally, when there is a mass release of inmates at a certain period, it suggests that they are being shifted to the Arkansas Department of Corrections. Similarly, the freeing of felons recently convicted in Columbia County Circuit Court usually implies their relocation to a state facility.
