1. National Review

Zyahna Bryant, a BLM activist, was chosen by Dove Beauty Products to be a spokesperson, and this has led to some backlash from the public, disregarding Bryant’s appearance. It was reported that while at The University of Virginia, Bryant ruined Morgan Bettinger's life because of a lie during the George Floyd Riots, causing Bettinger to receive threats. 

 

2. NewsMax 

Mike Pence, the ex-Vice President, expressed his approval for Sen. Tommy Tuberville for blocking military appointments as a reaction to the Pentagon's abortion guideline.


3. The Guardian 

Lucy Letby, a former UK nurse, lodged an appeal against all of her convictions for murdering seven babies and trying to murder six more. At the Countess of Chester Hospital, she was found guilty of injecting infants with air and poisoning two with insulin. The 33-year-old was given a whole-life sentence.


4. ABC News 

Amjad Amini, father of Mahsa Amini, was detained by Iranian authorities after leaving home to visit his daughter’s grave on the first anniversary of her death. He was later arrested by security guards and placed under house arrest. 


5. NBC News 

Doctors confess that they are finding it quite difficult to distinguish COVID from allergies or the common cold. Instead, they are observing a less severe sickness, mainly focused in the upper respiratory tract.

On a segment of MSNBC's Morning Joe, Gov. Josh Shapiro declared that Pennsylvania will be the twenty-fourth state to introduce automatic voter registration.


7. ABC News 

The body cam footage of the arrest of a school band director from Alabama High School has now been made public. The director was given a shock by a stun gun when he declined to stop his band from performing, and refused arrest.

The union is requesting a salary boost, elimination of the tiered workforce, reintroduction of pensions and cost-of-living adjustments, a 32-hour workweek and additional benefits.

A middle-school teacher in Texas was discharged from her teaching position after assigning her reading class an illustrated version of Anne Frank’s Diary that was not approved by the school board.

As efforts were made to locate the bear at Magic Kingdom, almost a dozen attractions had to be shut down. Fortunately, the bear was found and captured without any incidents and is now being relocated.
